Last year I was honoured to be a part of the inaugural Canine Partner Fun Day and Dog Show, held at Brandon Leisure Centre. Well, its back. This year it will be taking place on 18th June – put that straight in your diary!
Although it was the first year, the event raised enough money to fund a puppy who will then go on after training to become a vital part of daily life for someone with a disability, helping them to remain independent – how great is that?!
There is plenty to see and do at the event with attractions for all of the family, young and old, and plenty of fun for dogs too with fun shows – take a look at the Facebook page to find out more.
I will be at the event doing dog portrait sessions, and providing coverage of other areas of the event. Photos will be available to view online shortly after the event, prints can also be purchased if you wish to.
Come along and enjoy a great day out and support a fantastic charity – hopefully your support will result in another canine partner dog being recruited.
